biography
Madrid. 1973. Geologist, naturalist and nature photographer. Since I was a little child I took a keen interest in everything related with nature. I started taking photographs as an amateur photographer in 2003, trying to capture all the nature's beauty with my camera.
I consider myself as being a perfectionist and methodical photographer, very meticulous and demanding with myself about composition, sharpness and image processing.
I love traveling with my camera along a variety of nature spots, in Spain and all around the world. Although I like to photograph any kind of nature related subjects, I think I am mainly a landscape photographer, and a persistent hunter of 'magic lights'. I am a great fan of the work of Galen Rowell, who has been such inspiring for so many nature photographers. He is the reason of my mountain lights fascination.
Besides enjoying nature photography, I also try to pass on my passion for the natural environment to whoever sees my photos. I hope they can help people to understand how important is to protect and respect Nature.
I am an active member of the FONAMAD association (Nature Photographers of Madrid) and belong to the nature photographers group F64.
